Been coming for over 20 years.
Everyone is friendly, food especially breakfast is great. Mrs. K herself always with a smile and comes by to say hello. After the storm, place has been totally renovated. Yet the food stayed the same.
Never come to Middleburgh without at the very least a stop in. Even sometimes get a homemade pie to take home. -

Fast service, friendly atmosphere and excellent pancakes. The people seemed to know each other as is common in a small town. I ordered a bowl of oatmeal and it was huge and did not taste like the instant variety. This was a good place to start our day in Middleburgh NY.

Friendly staff, quick service, and homemade favorites at a family-owned restaurant that's been around for 20 years. Mrs. K's is on the main road stretch and near some flea markers and hiking trails, putting you right back on the road to your next destination. This place was a wreck after Hurricane Irene (as was the rest of the town), but the area is making a huge comeback, as did Mrs. K's. Farm-friendly options on the daily menu can connect you to some local farms in the area. Great local spot - highly recommend it!

While trying the eateries of this area, this place was up next for our Saturday morning breakfast. It's like eating in someone's home kitchen, which is a cute gimmick. That morning, we tried:
Apple pancakes, which were light and fluffy, had slices of fresh apples seared into the bottom. Slightly tart, balancing the sweetness of the syrup, these were good.
My partner had a veggie omelet, which was OK, but more like typical if you're used to diner grub. The home fries were good, but just room temperature so...I'm not sure where they came from, but it wasn't just off a griddle.
Service was good, but with Mrs. K and another server handling a full house of 40 or so, they were a bit in the weeds (busy) making it difficult to be attentive.
Stop in for a slice of nostalgia. -

Leave your no foam latte at the door and fall in to the loving embrace of the wonderful Mrs K. If you fancy yourself old school, or if you're more intrigued by meatloaf than a kale smoothie, you're in luck- this place is for you. The food is pretty good- very nice omelet, but more than anything, this is a throwback to the diners of yore. Get there and show some love to a great woman!
